Seasonal Spring Cooking & Lunch

Class + Lunch! Join Amanda of Baguette & Butter for a hands on spring meal preparation class. Amanda is both a chef and gardener, cooking from her own garden and preserving her bounty for the winter months. Each season, she produces a Field Guide with recipes centered around seasonal produce.  


This is an interactive workshop on how to practice and cook from a Clarified Capsule pantry. This will include cooking sustainable bulk grains from our Midwest: Spring Field Guide  and practicing cooking techniques perfect for Spring weather and produce. 


We will create dishes from the Field Guide to enjoy as a meal together at the end of the class. Class is limited to 10 participants with another 10 tickets available for the lunch portion from 1-2pm.

Join Amanda of Baguette & Butter for a lunch on the farm centered around spring produce and recipes. Amanda is both a chef and gardener, cooking from her own garden and preserving her bounty for the winter months. Each season, she produces a Field Guide with recipes based on what is in season. 


This meal follows the Spring Capsule Cooking class and will be held in the beautiful Hay Barn at Elawa Farm. Come learn about the preparation, recipes and taste the season with this thoughtful, springtime lunch.

Spring Preserving Workshop

Join Amanda of Baguette & Butter for a full class on preserving the spring garden. Amanda is both a chef and gardener, cooking from her own garden and preserving her bounty for the winter months. Each season, she produces a Field Guide with recipes centered around seasonal produce.  


This is a hands on workshop focused on learning to begin your own little larder at home. We will discuss canning and preserving methods that are simple and healthy, and we will make strawberry preserves to take home. Each participant will leave with 2 jars to share with friends or family!
