Elawa Farm requires a Staff Attendant be onsite throughout your event in the evening and on weekends when the Foundation Office is closed.

**EVENING EVENT NOTICE**

As of March 2019, Elawa Farm Foundation now operates under a new Special Use Permit from the City of Lake Forest which limits the number of evening events we are allowed to host each year to 18 total. 


This includes all events occurring past 5pm, regardless of size or type of celebration.

FAQs

Q. When does the rental begin and end?

Your rental will begin at set up and ends once the event has been cleaned up and cleared out.


Q. Can we serve alcoholic beverages?

Yes, although a permit must be acquired through the City of Lake Forest.  The permit fee is $75/beer & wine or $100/beer, wine & spirits


Q. Do we need to have an Event Attendant?

Yes, for all events which occur when the Foundation Office is closed.  The Event Attendant is onsite to ensure that your event runs smoothly and that our historic buildings are well taken care of.
