About Kathy
Kathy is a Midwest native who loves all things local. She's been involved with the Galesburg Farmers Market since 2011 and created the Knoxville Farmers Market in 2024. She is passionate about expanding access to locally grown & produced food, and actively works to support local growers & local food producers.
When Kathy isn't working to organize markets, she in working by her husband Gary on the farm in Gilson, IL. She helps with the cow calve herd, planting and harvesting crops and spending time in her produce garden.
Kathy is excited to work with Elawa Farm as they share the mission to increase the access to nutritious foods for all.
