Volunteer at Elawa Farm
Elawa Farm would not be what it is without the much-appreciated time, talents, and efforts put in by our community of volunteers. If you’re interested in gardening, harvesting flowers and/or making beautiful bouquets, we have volunteer options for you! Our main volunteer season is May - November. Individuals, families, businesses, and community groups are welcome – no experience necessary!
The Farm
Our farm is a great opportunity for folks who enjoy the outdoors. It’s also a terrific option for school service hours, master gardener volunteer hours, community groups or corporate team building. Individuals and groups of volunteers help with planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting vegetables and flowers in the garden from May to November. Volunteers also join us to make bouquets that are sold at our weekly market.
Volunteer Requirements
The minimum age to volunteer in our fields is 12. Kids ages 12 - 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
All volunteers must complete a signed waiver to participate. This form will be provided when you arrive for volunteering. Those under the age of 18 must have a signature of a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or group chaperone for all training and service.
