  • Goat Yoga


    Saturdays in the Summer
    10:30 am - 11:30 am

    Discover the perfect blend of relaxation & fun! Join us for an unforgettable outdoor yoga experience that combines the healing benefits of yoga with the fun and joy of interacting with our friendly goats.

  • Yoga on the Farm

    Saturdays 9 am- 10 am

    Unroll your mat and enjoy the scenery of Elawa Farm’s restored gardens as our Yoga Instructor guides you on an hour-long yoga journey. This class is a blend of many styles of yoga, such as gentle, restorative, power, and vinyasa flow. We'll start off at a slower pace to meditate, breathe, check in with our current state of being, and increase the pace to build heat and let go of energy that no longer serves us. All levels welcomed. Modifications are offered so each human can choose their level of movement needed. The end goal is for your heart to smile, your mind to find peace, and your body to thank you!!

    Note: Yoga mats are not provided - please bring your own.

  • Elegant Entertaining: Alfresco Dinner (Demo Cooking Class)


    Wednesday, September 17 6 pm- 9 pm

    Join Chef Mickey for an evening of alfresco dining featuring some showstopping dishes perfect for summer entertaining. Enjoy Chilled Melon Soup with Crispy Prosciutto, Grilled Swordfish with Salsa Verde and Farro Salad, and finish with Individual Pavlovas topped with fresh Raspberries and Basil Syrup.

  • Rosh Hashanah Baking...Made Simple! (Baking Class)


    Friday, September 19 9 am- 12 pm

    Join us for a day of baking with Micah Siva, award-winning cookbook author of Nosh: Plant Forward Recipes Celebrating Modern Jewish Cuisine (2024), trained chef, registered dietitian, and celebrated recipe writer. Prepare your kitchen for the High Holidays as you knead, braid, and fill your own Apple and Honey Challah to take home, while learning just how easy it can be to create two stunning cakes. Discover the magic of buckwheat honey and flour in our moist Carrot Honey Cake with a spicy Ginger Glaze, and master gluten-free baking the whole family will love with a showstopping Upside Down Gluten-Free Apple Cake.

    Leave inspired, well-fed, and ready to ring in the new year! This is a hands-on and demo class. Bring your apron and get ready to bake!

  • Easy as Pie (Baking Class)


    Monday, September 29 9 am - 12:30 pm

    Prepare for Fall in the Elawa Learning Kitchen with our Pastry Chef Maggie Logan who will make you a pro in the art of pie-making. This hands-on, immersive class will give you the skills you need to make beautiful pies with seasonal ingredients. We will cover three forms of pie: traditional American pie, French tart, and galette. Students will bring home what they bake along with recipes. Bring your favorite rolling pin and apron and get ready to Bake!

  • Pumpkins & Succulents Workshop with Eileen Weber

    Thursday, October 2 10:30 am - 11:45 am

    Create a pair of charming fall centerpieces using miniature pumpkins, live succulents, and seasonal dried accents like moss and flowers. Each participant will decorate two mini pumpkins to take home, perfect for a table, mantel, or hostess gift.

    All materials and professional instructions are included.

  • Dried Flower Social Bouquet

    Friday, October 17 5:30 pm - 7 pm

    Grab your friends or family and join us for a fun and relaxing evening of flowers, food, and creativity! Enjoy wine and appetizers while our farm team guides you step by step in designing your own dried flower bouquet using blooms from our fields.

  • Fall Watercolor Painting Class with Evelyn Phelps

    Friday, October 24 1 pm- 4 pm

    Enjoy experimenting and learning watercolor painting in the beautiful surroundings of Elawa Farm.

    Autumn painting will provide opportunities to explore a range of watercolor techniques, subjects, and styles while learning color mixing and how to manipulate paint for wonderful results. The class will help build your confidence as you create several completed pieces. No previous experience is required, all supplies will be provided.

  • A Sweet & Savory Harvest with Chef Mickey Knutson (Demo Cooking Class)

    Wednesday, October 15 1 pm- 4 pm

    Join us for a cozy and inspiring fall-themed demo cooking class led by Chef Mickey, featuring comforting seasonal dishes. Learn essential techniques from searing and sauce-making to dessert prep and blind baking, all while sipping a seasonal Apple Brandy Old Fashioned. Whether you're honing your skills or simply savoring the flavors of fall, this class offers a deliciously memorable experience.

Family Classes & Programs

  • Goat Stroll


    Fridays in July & August
    12 pm - 12:30 pm

    Join our Assistant Farm Manager, Georgia DeSilva, and our adorable goats for an energizing walk around the farm! This guided experience offers the perfect opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Elawa Farm while interacting with our friendly goats. It’s a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the outdoors and connect with our charming animals.

    All registrants need to purchase a ticket to participate and all 10 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. Heads up! If it rains, we’ll have to cancel goat stroll. Goats don’t love the rain either! We will reach out and refund you for your tickets.

  • Farm Tours

    Join us this summer for farm tours where you'll learn about the history of the Elawa Farm Foundation and how it came to be. We'll discuss its origins, growth over the years, and how it continues to expand and broaden access to education , nutritious food and our local food system.

    Get ready for a heartwarming experience with our friendly goats! Step into their playful world and enjoy a fun-filled session of cuddling, petting, and interacting with our lovable furry friends. This unforgettable encounter is perfect for all ages!

  • Feathery Friends: A Chicken Experience

    Fridays in September 9:30 am & 11:30 am

    Come meet our curious and friendly chickens on a guided visit with Assistant Farm Manager, Georgia DeSilva! This hands-on experience will enable you to observe our chickens up close, learn about their unique personalities, and feed and pet them. This is an enjoyable and interactive experience for animal lovers of all ages! Class will be held in the Goat Paddock.

    Please note: Tickets are required for both children and accompanying adults if they wish to participate in the program and enter the chicken coop.

  • Jamberry

    Every Friday
    10 am & 11:15am


    In this class, Nicole will lead you and your little ones in 45-minutes of collaborative music making. We will connect through music while we sing, dance, move, play and pretend.


  • Adventures at Elawa

    Wednesday, September 24
    12 pm- 1pm

    Join us as we kick off the Fall season with some tasty apple treats. In this hands on class, kids will be baking Cinnamon Apple Muffins followed by a visit to our furry friends.

    This is a drop off class for kids age 3-5 years old.

  • Adventures at Elawa

    Wednesday, October 1 12 pm - 1 pm

    In this class, creativity meets the harvest! We’ll kick off the class with a fun trip to our garden to hand-pick your very own gourd, which you'll then transform into a one-of-a-kind seasonal creation.

    This is a drop off class for kids ages 3-5 years old.

  • Art & Science Explorers

    October 4 11 am- 12 pm

    Join Pam Myers of Purple Finch Studio for a fun new art class at Elawa Farm to kick off spooky season! Mix, fizz and create! In this lively hour, kids will dive into fun hands-on fall pumpkin science experiments and they’ll explore liquid watercolor. A playful blend of curiosity and creativity that brings science and art together.

    This is a drop off class for kids ages 5-10. All materials included.
