Our Impact
As a result of this growth in programs and infrastructure, we will be able to:
• Offer a free local destination for thousands of residents
• Steward the historic buildings and conservation land as a community asset
• Grow our free, dual language, and adaptive programs to local families by 100%
• Increase healthy food donations from our garden and kitchen by 50% to families facing food insecurity in Lake County
• Introduce incubator space in our Learning Kitchen for 6 - 8 emerging food businesses and feature their products in our market
• Strengthen the local food system by supporting 50 + farmers and producers in our kitchen sourcing
Be a part of this transformational growth to deepen our impact as a community destination, regional food hub, and leader in accessible educational initiatives.
We would like to thank our lead donors for contributing the initial $1.5 million to the Keep Elawa Growing Initiative.
Please help us reach our goal of $2 million to complete this project. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
