We will be hosting our annual Holiday Market on Friday, 12/4 - Saturday, 12/5 from 10 am - 4 pm. The market will offer trees and greenery, holiday decor, gift items from local artisans, as well as cookies, baked goods, and treats from our Kitchen. Dress for the weather, as the market will be open air. The following safety measures will be implemented at the market:
Elawa's gingerbread houses have been a community favorite at our annual Holiday Market for many years. This season, we've had to change course to ensure the safety of our dedicated volunteers who make our gingerbread houses. Although we are unable to create the 50+ houses for the market this year, we will be auctioning off five gingerbread houses as a small fundraiser for Elawa.
The silent auction will be open online on November 12th and will close on December 1st. Online bids can be made through https://eff.betterworld.org. Winners of the auction can pick up their gingerbread houses during our Holiday Market from December 4 - 5. All proceeds from the gingerbread auction will directly benefit Elawa Farm Foundation's mission to preserve our historic campus, feed our community, and provide educational programming.
Bid high and bid often to bring home one of these beautiful holiday treasures while supporting your local community.
THE GARDEN MARKET
The Garden Market runs mid-May and through October, featuring produce, herbs and flowers harvested directly from the Elawa Garden and from selected local visiting vendors. Our small-scale Market Garden provides a remarkable array of heirloom tomatoes, greens, carrots, beets, squash, herbs, honey, flower bouquets and more.
In addition we offer seasonal homemade items from our own Elawa Kitchen as well as local artisan items for your garden and home.
Note: Any surplus of produce and food items in our seasonal Garden Market are donated weekly to a local food pantry.
