Our Impact
Our mission is to steward a historic farm that enriches the greater Lake County community as a center for experiential learning to broaden access to education, nutritious food, and our local food system.
We strive to build a healthier community and more resilient, local food system by:
Donating our fresh harvest and healthy meals from our kitchen to families facing food insecurity in Lake County on a weekly basis.
Offering free educational programs and experiences to youth and adults, including dual-language (English/Spanish) programs.
Building ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible gardens and offering adaptive programs for people with disabilities.
Partnering with an ecosystem of community organizations to deliver our programs.
Supporting 50 local farmers and producers through our market and kitchen sourcing.
Providing a free destination for thousands of local visitors to enjoy our grounds and reconnect with nature and our local food system - 365 days a year.
Practicing sustainable agricultural methods on the farm.
